JimmyCTonight I purchased a Toyota T100 with 157,000 miles on it. A work truck to clean up the back yard, basement, etc. I hope it makes it to the mountains at least once this summer.

Polar USA S625X
It looks like Polar has released a running shoe pod version for sDM over GPS; I have to imagine the quality is excellent.
Already looks like the pod is submersible in water.. It is integrated with bicycle monitoring. It communicates via Infrared - that’s boring; why not bluetooth. Not sure if there is a Mac version of the software… This is interesting - ties in with nokia phone 5140. I just checked it out - great phone. Man, I’m looking into this stuff.
I learned about a company that sells software to help companies like yours manage offshore outsourced operations. From call centers to engineering firms to accounting firms; they are all doing it. So its not just people answering phones, PhD’s making 30K per year in India do the work. 30K in India is big bucks. International business is where its at. My company is rapidly restructuring to serve China and Asia.
But I believe it will all even out in the end. Inflation will take hold, people in India with money will want things, standards will rise. In 50 years India will look like we did in the 50’s. We will look like Europe does today. In 100 years places like Africa will be labor pools and perhaps we will have a revolution. Its all in the history books. Do what you can to make it today.
This weekend we regrouped - I pulled out the pansies and made room for summer flowers. Whacked some weeds and cut the grass, after changing the blade on the mower. Stephanie cleaned house and the kids purged their closets and rooms of old stuff. I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped - along the meandering I have been doing at home while I try to figure out how to get the fire started at work again. I am onto a new kick - a truck. What started as a simple second vehicle - a work truck to haul and bring more or less stuff. To finish the back yard and basement turned into a search for perfection. I cannot simply buy a cheep truck, I immediately look for quality. So I find Toyota the engine that could … forever. I look into it and find coolness, SR5 and Off Road. Word that excite and motivate. I take Daniel to look and he loves the back seat of a double cab and suddenly I’m looking for new trucks to replace the benz.
Wait - regroup again, looking at two doors again, second truck all be in new and a 4 wheel drive truck. Trip to REI and excitement about four wheeling the forest service roads to camp and hike in the nature I so love. But none available for now - you can search inventory on the internet now days - so back to 4 doors. And the dream is expanded… 4 doors and 4X4 or should I mistype $X$ - what have I done! I’m pricing Toyota Tacoma 4 door 4×4 beasts!
This weekend they regrouped - I just fell into my fantasy world again…
i really need to sell something.
Isn’t that one great fucking show about a fucking hard but amazing time in America’s history.
Isn’t it Ironic ALANIS MORISSETTE - Ironic
My kids are into words - Maia reads a lot of them, Daniel is obsessed with finding fault in them (English ones) and Sophie is just getting started. Daniel has often said “Isn’t it ironic…” and he is using the word correctly most of the time, thought often its coincidence or something similar. He also likes to clarify - “isn’t it Funny by saying Funny Ironic” not Funny Haha. So this song cleared it up for him, I think. Wouldn’t it be ironic if he never used the word again now.

Great website. I need to post some Genesis stuff here, since I’m a big fan. Saw them in Syracuse back in 1980 but my fav’s are with Peter Gabriel.
worked in the yard today - got the weeds out from around the front door finally. Need to get some annuals next week - pull out the panzies (sp?) and plant. I wish someone would find this blog and leave comments - I’m getting bored with it.
American Robin, eNature.com
American Robin
Turdus migratorius
We have a Robin’s nest in our Holly tree out front. It raised three young birds and it looks like one is gone and another is on the way. It jumped down today and it doesn’t look to be ready but I saw its mother or father coaxing it out of the bushes below the tree. It hopped and flew to another tree so I hope it will be ok. I had to shoo Chipper the cat from next door away once. Hopefully he will stay away.
The kids got to see them in the nest and Maia saw the one in the bush. So nice that they get to see life starting, thank you God.
